Perfect for fans of the Batman comics and film series, this mini figurine and lapel pin set has been created in collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment. It comes in official Batman Licensee packaging.
Sculpted in Royal Selangor's signature pewter, the mini figurine shows an unhinged Joker in his Bronze Age appearance and with a classic maniacal grin. His nemesis' iconic insignia, the Batarang, is reproduced as a lapel pin.
Pewter is almost maintenance-free as it does not react with the air to oxidise or tarnish. It can attract dust and dirt, but all that's required is an occasional wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Over time pewter develops a pleasing and subdued patina unique to the metal which is part of the beauty of investing in this material.

The Royal Selangor story began more than a century ago when a young pewterer named Yong Koon sailed from the port of Shantou, China to the tin rich shores of Kuala Lumpur, Malaya. Initially he produced ceremonial pewter items such as incense burners for other Chinese migrants. As an early forerunner to the company’s ongoing commitment to meeting the changing needs of the consumer he later developed cigarette boxes, tankards and tea services for British military personnel residing in Malaya at that time.
