When we deliver your new home appliance, our delivery Partners can install it too, and remove your existing appliance for recycling, or re-use the item where possible, at the same time.

In order for us to be able to successfully install your new fridge freezer, we need you to carry out some checks within your home to ensure your new appliance will be compatible.

What to expect from an installation service
We can deliver and install your new integrated fridge freezer, so you’ll be set up and ready to enjoy it.
If you have purchased a freestanding fridge freezer, we will connect it for us as part of the delivery service free of charge.

Below, we explain what you need to check and what to do if your current setup isn’t suitable for the appliance you’d like to buy.

Doors & Hinges
Door Splits
Please check the fridge freezer door split matches your existing cabinet doors. Fridge freezers come in three splits: 50/50; 60/40 or 70/30.
You’ll find all the information you need in the product specifications on our website.
60/40 and 70/30 splits will usually fit the same doors, but a 70/30 model may need to be raised slightly on plinth so that the door splits line up.
What to do if your setup is unsuitable
We are unable to add or remove a plinth for you, so please double check how your existing appliance is installed before you buy. A competent person may be required before booking an installation if you want to change the door split size of your fridge freezer.
Hinge Types
There are two types of hinges, fixed and sliding. Fixed hinges attach the appliance door directly to the cabinet door. If you currently have fixed hinges, you’ll need to choose the same again in your new fridge freezer.
Sliding hinges glide along the back of the cabinet door. If you currently have sliding hinges, you can choose the same again, or switch to a fixed hinge model.

What to do if your setup is unsuitable
A competent person may be required to prepare your cabinet doors, such as replace or maintain existing door hinges, before booking an installation service.
Location
Electricty Supply
Please check you have an electricity supply already in place, and within one metre of where you want the new integrated fridge freezer to go.
What to do if your setup is unsuitable
If you have no electricity supply, including if the supply is over 1 metre away from your desired appliance location, speak with a competent person about the work required.
Measurements
Please check the dimensions of your chosen integrated fridge freezer. You’ll find all the information you need in the product specifications on our website.
What to do if your setup is unsuitable
We are unable to complete any adjustments to your kitchen cabinets on the day. Speak to a competent person before booking an installation about the work required.

Please note that if your existing home setup doesn’t meet all four of the requirements, we may not be able to install your new integrated fridge freezer on the day
Installation and recycling prices
Installation Price
Freestanding fridge freezer: included as part of the delivery service
Integrated fridge freezer: £110
Freestanding fridge door reversal (completed before delivery): £35
Please note some American-style fridge freezers or fridges with electronic controls do not have the option for door reversal.
Recycling
Per appliance: £25
This service is not available for American-style fridge freezers.
Please empty, defrost and wipe dry your current appliance before we arrive if you have booked this service.
If you have only booked a recycling service, please also disconnect your existing fridge freezer.
