A timeless design, these fabulous opal and diamond stud earrings are set with 1 large opal and 24 sparkling diamonds each. The opals are rub over set to the centre of each earring and are considered to have a green/violet pinfire/floral 'play of colour' (which suggests how the colours change as they're moved). The diamonds are spaced around the edge adding just a subtle hint of sparkle to the look. The earrings were hallmarked 18ct gold in 2000 and are suitable for pierced ears only.

The opals are estimated to weigh approx 3.60ct in total. The diamonds weigh approximately 0.45ct and have been assessed as G-H in colour and SI1-I1 in clarity.

The colour G-H falls into the following group:
Near Colourless G-J- More common than D-F colour diamonds, the G-J diamonds provide a great value. Similar to D-F diamonds, these diamonds are best highlighted in white gold or platinum as the white colour of the metal enhances the colourlessness of the stone.

The clarity SI1-I1 falls into the following groups:
Slightly Included (SI1 and SI2) Inclusions are visible under 10x magnification only but not to the naked eye.

Included (I1, I2, and I3)- Inclusions are apparent and can affect transparency and brilliance.
