Le Creuset's wine decanting fountain aerates wine rapidly, allowing it to breathe and improve its taste, as well as providing a bit of theatre at the table in the process. The glass funnel has two holes creating a direct flow of wine against the walls of your decanter.
After-care for your Le Creuset decanter is important, as the aeration-maximising design makes it somewhat tricky to clean. However, this set includes cleaning balls that are the perfect solution, as the small metal stainless steel bearings can be poured into the decanter in order to gently remove wine residues from inside. They are supplied in a black silicone pouch, with a large and flexible opening designed for easy pouring and retrieval of the cleaning balls after use.
