This Formal lamp table comes with a single drawer and woven cane shelf. It’s made from melia oak solids and pippy oak lacquered and is hand-polished with wax lacquer. Finished with antiqued brass knob handles, it makes a lovely addition to your living room, dining room, bedroom or even hallway.
Pippy oak features small, tight clusters of knots, which appear sporadically in the growth of the tree. This feature is highly valued by master craftsmen for its decorative appearance. Melia ash is a fast growing tree, taking only 20-25 years to mature, and has been used for its stable and durable qualities. The cane used in Hemingway is natural and handmade.
This elegant furniture is inspired by the formal yet practical look of the late 19th century Arts and Crafts movement. Each piece in the Hemingway range is made from melia oak solids and pippy oak lacquered, stained a rich deep colour, and hand-polished with wax unusual. For a traditional finish, doors and drawers are finished with antiqued brass knob handles.
The Hemingway range features a beautifully distressed finish, which makes each piece utterly unique to its owner.
