Made from hygienic and easy-to-clean stainless steel, this steamer basket is a collapsible design to save space in your cupboards. Perfect for healthy steam-cooking vegetables, fish or even cakes and buns.
The basket folds out to sit in a pan or wok and food can be placed directly on top of the steamer, or it can support a bamboo steamer for traditional Chinese recipes. The perforations allow the circulation of steam for even cooking. Simply place your food on top and leave the steam to do its work. The water level in the pan should be lower than the base of the steamer, otherwise, the food will boil instead of steam. The basket is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
