Brand and Fabric Story

Gail’s Garden DawnGail's Garden Liberty Print was created using original artwork from The Ladybird Book archive which was unparalleled in its perfectly observed attention to detail. Taken from 'The Ladybird Book of Garden Flowers' published in 1960 the design was re-worked into a stunning repeat in two colour options, dawn and dusk, offering two very different apparitions of the same design, one shadowy and soft, one rich and indulgent.
Faria Flowers BlackberryFaria Flowers print - a true carpet of flora inspired by the quote '…an' th' grass'll be a carpet o' flowers', taken from the novel 'The Secret Garden'. Gorgeous blooms can be seen growing out from mainly dark blotches, representing the earth and showcasing the garden at the height of its splendour and glory. The artwork is a larger scale version of the Floral Clay print.
Lady Kristina Film NoirLady Kristina Liberty Print has been adapted from an archive document within a series of exquisite hand painted artworks created for Liberty in the 1920s and '30s. These sumptuous tree of life designs were used for various textiles including cushions, throws and kimonos. This print embodies the cinema room in the Cabinet House and was suitably selected for the collection by celebrated actor, Sir Roger Moore.

Floral Clay Wood Fairy Velvet This Floral Clay Liberty Print features a small scale covered floral design, representing the first growth in the garden and the quote, ' ....however many years she lived she would never forget that first morning when her garden began to grow' taken from the novel 'The Secret Garden'. The print was hand-drawn and then hand-painted onto the back of vintage Liberty wallpaper then repeated digitally. The flowers were drawn from both Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows as well as the borders around Hampton Court Palace.
