Take control of your photography with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6. Designed to be the focal point for everything photo related after you've finished snapping, Lightroom 6 is one efficient application for everything from organizing to editing to sharing.

Perfect your images
Lightroom gives you the ability to professionally process your images, right from importing them in RAW or JPEG formats to developing your photos and then sharing them however you choose. The Develop tab will let you adjust your photos without destroying the original. You can change anything from exposure levels and clarity to refining smaller areas of the image with clone, heal and adjustment brushes. When you're done, you can export your work as a new file, without replacing the original image. Lightroom uses non-destructive editing, which can easily be reverted or revisited, so no change is permanent.

Organise and share
Lightroom comes with a powerful organisation library to help you sort your photos into folders on your storage location of choice. It can also automatically backup any changes to a second location, such as an external hard drive, so that you're covered if your main storage fails. You can find, group and tag images by location and automatically display location data from GPS-enabled cameras, and use the naming tool to pre-set criteria to name each of your photos by, for example the date and image number with additional text for the name of the shoot or location.

  With HDR Merge, you can easily combine multiple shots taken with different exposure setting into a single, high dynamic range image. It's ideal for creating natural-looking or surreal images from extremely high-contrast scenes.
• Expansive panoramas
  Stitch together multiple images, including RAW files, with Photomerge, helping you to create seamless panoramas with amazing detail.
• Better filter control
  Precise controls help you choose which parts of your image are affected by Graduated or Radial filters. With a brush tool, you can edit the filter's mask, making it easy to add or remove filter effects wherever you want.
• Easily find photos of specific people
  Lightroom automatically recognizes faces, so you can find more photos of one person simply by selecting their face in one photo. You don't even need to have tagged them.
• Advanced video slide shows
  Create beautiful, polished slideshows with images, music and video clips with professional effects such as pan and zoom.
• Improved sharing with web galleries
  Create engaging and interactive web galleries to share your work with others. Templates are now HTML5 compatible to ensure they work with as many desktop and mobile browsers as possible, and you can use them to start discussions and get feedback on your work.
