It plays 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays, and supports multiple HDR formats for Hollywood-style picture quality that adjusts scene-by-scene. Armed with High Resolution Audio and Dolby Atmos, its sound quality is on a par with the visuals, and this compact unit plays your existing disc collection too.
Ultra High Definition visuals
Ultra HD Blu-ray allows you to watch movies in unprecedented detail. With four times the resolution and pixel density of a standard Blu-ray disc, the picture gives incredible depth, natural motion, and realism. Panasonic’s HCX (Hollywood Cinema Experience) processor delivers picture quality worthy of the Hollywood studios.
HDR with HDR10+
HDR expands light, dark and every colour in between to extraordinary new levels for a picture that’s closer to real life. This Panasonic Ultra HD Blu-ray player supports multiple HDR formats, including HDR10+. With dynamic metadata technology, it adjusts from scene to scene, so the optimum visuals are provided depending on the specifics of the image, and you'll always get a premium picture.
4K networking
4K Networking allows you to connect your 4K camcorder or camera to your 4K TV, displaying your travel videos and images in high-resolution.
High Resolution Audio and Dolby Atmos
The UB154 positions you further into the action with High-Resolution Audio playback. It enhances the sound's detail, to give you a more authentic, immersive listening experience of master studio sound quality. Dolby Atmos places sound in three-dimensional aspect all around you for even more immersive entertainment.
Compact design
At just 32cm wide, the UB154 is a very compact player. So it fits seamlessly and discreetly in with your home AV equipment, giving you more placement options, and more space.
Versatile disc player
As well as Ultra HD Blu-rays, the UB154 also plays 3D Blu-rays, regular Full HD Blu-rays, and DVDs. It also plays audio CDs so your entire collection of discs is covered.
This player will support playback of discs purchased in the same region (Region 2 for DVD, Region B for Blu-ray) unless otherwise specified in the player documentation.
A 4K TV is required to enjoy the 4K UHD picture.
